Video Capture : don't have access to all video input formats

Hello,

I'm currently evaluating Video Capture on a Windows 8 tablet PC (a Lenovo Thinkpad) and I don't seem to have access to all the video input formats. The best that is listed when using Video_CaptureDeviceFormats_GetItem is 640x480. I also tried to use Set_Video_CaptureFormat_UseBest but the result is the same.

I tested the same program on a W7 laptop and was able to use the best available video input format (1280x1024).

Any idea what could be the problem ?
