I'm output mp4 file, But no matter how to set, the quality did not always feel the same as the original file. Is there any one can tell me your setting please.

In this ticket you asked about H264 files. Yes, for MPEG-2 source file will be converted. In the future we'll add direct MPEG-2 encryption too.

We have DirectCrypt API to encrypt H264 files, for other files standard encryption API can be used. This topic about H264 MP4 files, why you asked about MPEG-2?

I'm asking about mpeg-2, because the topic about: why my encrypted file(h264) not like the original source file(mp4 or mpeg2).

and you said " allows to encrypt H264 video stream without recompression".
but I remember you said the only way is convert h264 to h264, can use that way.
but because I have a lot mpeg2(some dvd) need encrypted. so ....that's it.

I did not deviate from the topic......

Output quality fully depends from used settings.
